Coming from Birmingham, GANS are a duo that blend the spirit of British indie with the melancholy of the Black Country scene. Euan Woodman and Thomas Rhodes first met as teenagers, and their debut album “Good For The Soul”, released under Peter Doherty’s Strap Originals label, explores every shade of growing up - from noise and anger to tenderness and self-discovery.

I'm glad to be somewhat clueless about this five-member band from Estonia. as it gave me plenty of questions to ask and made me genuinely curious about the ideas behind their recent releases, their approach to experimentation, their beginnings, the gloomy weather, and which songs they'd include on their autumn playlists. Neon Fir is the second band I interviewed for the Changeover Festival, taking place in Belgrade.
